Up! Burlington: Saturday, May 3rd
On
Saturday, May 3rd
the City of Burlington will host Green Up Day. Green Up, a
state-wide event, brings community volunteers of all ages together to
clean up Burlington’s parks, streets and public lands. Volunteer
groups will leave from one of five hubs across the city, and join with
their neighbors to clean up, green up, and spruce up Burlington!
The day starts at 9:30am, with a post-event celebration at Battery Park
from 12:00 to 1:30pm - free lunch for Green Up! participants, and a
chance to mingle with community members, check out local organizations,
chat with elected officials, hear live music, and perhaps have a few
surprises! Check back for details and updates as they arrive, or
